Experience Przemysław Strączek live on August 6th

Przemysław Strączek will perform a concert at the Japanese Garden in Chorzów, Poland on August 6, 2026. Strączek is a Polish composer and instrumentalist whose music blends elements of ambient, neoclassical, and electronic genres, often incorporating piano as a central instrument. His compositions are generally characterized by atmospheric textures, melodic sensitivity, and a focus on creating immersive soundscapes. He frequently draws inspiration from nature and minimalist aesthetics.

The Japanese Garden in Chorzów, officially known as the Silesian Japanese Garden, was originally constructed between 1966 and 1974 as part of the International Horticultural Exhibition held in Chorzów. It’s one of the largest and most authentic Japanese gardens in Europe, designed by Japanese landscape architect Kazuo Tanaka alongside Polish architect Tadeusz Zieliński. The garden features traditional elements like ponds with koi carp, stone lanterns, bridges, meticulously arranged plants representing various Japanese garden styles – including hill gardens (tsukiyama) and dry landscape gardens (karesansui) – and teahouses. It aims to recreate the atmosphere of a classical Japanese landscape while adapting to the local climate and environment of Silesia.
