Pink Martini is scheduled to perform at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts in San Antonio, Texas on January 10, 2027. The ensemble is known for its eclectic musical style, blending genres such as jazz, classical, Latin, and pop. Often featuring vocals in multiple languages – including English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese – their performances are characterized by a sophisticated and playful atmosphere. Founded in 1994 in Portland, Oregon by pianist Thomas Lauderdale, Pink Martini gained popularity through its unique sound and diverse repertoire.

The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts opened in 2014 following an extensive renovation of the historic Municipal Auditorium. Originally built in 1926 as the Municipal Auditorium, it served as a major venue for various events including concerts, conventions and sporting competitions. The renovation preserved the building’s original Spanish Renaissance Revival architecture while adding modern performance spaces. The complex now comprises three primary venues: the Carlos Alvarez Studio Theatre—a more intimate space; the H-E-B Performance Hall—a large proscenium theatre; and the outdoor River Walk Extension venue.
