Pink Martini is scheduled to perform at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on January 17, 2027. The ensemble is known for its eclectic musical style, blending genres such as jazz, classical, Latin, lounge and pop. Formed in 1994 in Portland, Oregon, Pink Martini gained popularity for performing in multiple languages – including English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Turkish – and creating a cosmopolitan sound often described as “sophisticated” and “romantic.” Their repertoire includes original songs and covers spanning decades and continents.

The Broward Center for the Performing Arts opened in 1989 following a public-private partnership aimed at revitalizing downtown Fort Lauderdale. It comprises multiple performance venues: the Au-Rene Theater (where Pink Martini is scheduled to appear), the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts’ Parker Playhouse (acquired by Broward County in 2021), and the Huizenga Pavilion. The Au-Rene Theater specifically is a proscenium-style theater with a seating capacity of approximately 2,000.
