Pavlo, a Canadian guitarist renowned for his Mediterranean-influenced instrumental music, is scheduled to perform at the Shenkman Arts Centre in Orleans, Ottawa, on March 11, 2027. His compositions blend flamenco, Greek, and Latin rhythms with contemporary arrangements, often featuring acoustic guitar as the primary instrument. Pavlo’s work frequently evokes imagery of sun-drenched landscapes and passionate storytelling through melody. He has released numerous albums and toured extensively throughout North America and Europe.

The Shenkman Arts Centre opened in 2009 and serves as a significant cultural hub for the City of Ottawa and surrounding region. It is a multi-disciplinary facility managed by the City of Ottawa’s Cultural Programming branch. The centre houses several performance spaces including the main theatre – where Pavlo is slated to perform – a studio theatre, and various meeting and art instruction rooms.

Designed by architectural firm KPMB Architects, the building incorporates sustainable design elements and aims to be accessible to all community members. The centre regularly hosts a diverse range of events encompassing music, dance, theatre, visual arts exhibitions and community programming intended to support local artists and cultural organizations.
