Orchestre de Paris is a French symphony orchestra renowned for its interpretations of both standard classical repertoire and 20th and 21st-century works. Established in 1967, the orchestra has a history of commissioning new pieces and collaborating with prominent contemporary composers, alongside performing core orchestral literature from composers like Debussy, Ravel, and Messiaen – reflecting a strong connection to the French musical tradition. They are known for their rich sound and versatility across diverse musical styles.

The concert will be held at Philharmonie de Paris, a concert hall inaugurated in January 2015. Situated in the Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, it represents France’s first dedicated concert hall designed specifically for acoustic excellence and audience experience. The complex comprises two main halls: the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez, known for its adjustable acoustics allowing adaptation to various ensembles and genres, and smaller spaces for more intimate performances and educational activities.

Philharmonie de Paris was conceived as a national project to address France’s lack of a modern, world-class concert venue.
