Orchestre de Paris is renowned for its interpretations of both the classical and contemporary orchestral repertoire, with a particular strength in French music. Founded in 1967 by Charles de Gaulle, the orchestra quickly established itself as a leading ensemble, known for its precision, rich sound, and collaborative spirit with prominent conductors and soloists. The concert will take place at Philharmonie de Paris, a major concert complex inaugurated in January 2015. Located in the Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, it represents France’s first dedicated concert hall designed specifically for acoustic excellence and audience experience. The complex comprises two main halls: the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez – known for its adjustable acoustics – and a smaller, more intimate studio.

Philharmonie de Paris was conceived as a national project to provide a world-class venue for symphonic music and to enhance music education initiatives. Its architectural design, by Jean Nouvel, is notable for its metallic cladding and accessibility features. The building aims to be a cultural hub fostering engagement with music across all demographics.
