Experience Orchestre De Paris live on September 30th
Orchestre de Paris is renowned for its interpretations of both standard repertoire and contemporary works, frequently commissioning new pieces and showcasing French musical heritage alongside international classics. Established in 1967, the orchestra has a history of collaboration with prominent conductors and soloists, developing a reputation for technical precision and expressive performance. Their programming typically encompasses a broad range of orchestral literature from the Baroque period to the 21st century.
The concert will take place at Philharmonie de Paris, a concert hall inaugurated in January 2015. Located in the Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement, it is designed by architect Jean Nouvel and represents a significant investment in France’s cultural infrastructure. The complex features two main halls: the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez, known for its adjustable acoustics and seating capacity of approximately 2,400, and the smaller Salle des Yeux, dedicated to chamber music and educational activities.
Philharmonie de Paris aims to be a comprehensive musical resource, offering not only performances but also educational programs, research facilities (including a vast music library), and exhibition spaces. It serves as the home base for Orchestre de Paris and Radio France’s musical ensembles.
