Orchestre Consuelo will perform at the Philharmonie de Paris on November 8, 2026. The ensemble is recognized for its interpretations of French *variété* and popular song, particularly arrangements originally associated with Charles Aznavour, with whom the orchestra collaborated extensively for over three decades. Their style blends orchestral arrangements with elements of jazz and chanson, often featuring nuanced vocal performances and a focus on lyrical storytelling.

The Philharmonie de Paris, inaugurated in January 2015, is a major concert venue located in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. It’s part of a larger park complex, the Parc de la Villette. Designed by Jean Nouvel, the building notably features a ‘cloud’ of reflective metal panels on its exterior.

The Philharmonie comprises two primary halls: the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez, known for its exceptional acoustics and seating capacity of approximately 2,400; and a smaller, more intimate chamber music hall. The venue aims to be accessible to diverse audiences and hosts a wide range of musical genres beyond classical, including contemporary music and world music.
