Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, one of Italy’s leading orchestras, will perform at Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp, Belgium on March 10, 2027. The orchestra boasts a long and distinguished history, tracing its origins back to 1585, and is renowned for its interpretations of both standard orchestral repertoire and contemporary works. Its musical style is characterized by a rich, Italianate sound – often described as lyrical and expressive – with a strong emphasis on clarity and balance. The orchestra frequently collaborates with internationally acclaimed soloists and conductors.

Queen Elisabeth Hall (Koninklijke Elisabethzaal) opened in 1969 and is a prominent concert venue in Antwerp, known for its exceptional acoustics. Designed by the architects Van der Sluys & Gillet, the hall underwent a significant renovation completed in 2009, modernizing facilities while preserving its original architectural features. It serves as a key location for classical music performances in Belgium and hosts a diverse range of events including opera, ballet, and chamber music. The hall is named in honour of Queen Elisabeth of Belgium, a patron of the arts who founded the Queen Elisabeth Competition for musicians.
