Omari Dillard is a contemporary jazz pianist and composer known for a style deeply rooted in the Black American musical tradition. His work frequently incorporates elements of spiritual jazz, post-bop, and gospel, often featuring intricate improvisations and explorations of harmonic complexity. Dillard’s compositions often address themes of identity, history, and spirituality. He has released several albums to critical acclaim and performs internationally as a bandleader and sideman.

The New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (Nbpac) is a multi-venue performing arts complex located in the heart of New Brunswick, New Jersey. Originally opening in 1919 as the historic State Theatre, it underwent extensive renovations completed in 2017. The complex now comprises two primary performance spaces: the Arthur S. DeRubertis Concert Hall, a restored vaudeville house seating approximately 1,900 patrons, and the smaller Elizabeth Ross Johnson Theater which hosts more intimate performances.

Nbpac serves as a hub for a diverse range of artistic presentations including Broadway shows, concerts spanning various genres, dance performances, comedy acts and community events.
