O, the musical project spearheaded by vocalist and producer Damon Albarn (known for his work with Blur and Gorillaz), will perform at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg on September 7, 2026. O’s music is characterized by its electronic soundscapes, often incorporating global musical influences and featuring Albarn’s distinctive vocals. The project debuted in 2013 with the album *O*, largely inspired by Albarn’s experiences in Iceland and exploring themes of nature and isolation. Subsequent releases have continued this exploration of atmospheric electronic music, frequently employing minimalist arrangements and evocative textures.

The Elbphilharmonie, opened in January 2017, is a concert hall in the HafenCity district of Hamburg. Constructed atop an existing warehouse, the *Kaispeicher A*, its design by Herzog & de Meuron architects integrates modern glass construction with the historic brick building. The hall is renowned for its exceptional acoustics, achieved through a vineyard-style seating arrangement surrounding the stage and innovative acoustic engineering developed by Yasuhisa Toyota. It houses two primary concert halls: the Grand Hall, home to the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra, and the smaller Recital Hall.
