Nova, a musical project spearheaded by French composer and producer Benoît Pioulard, will perform at Planetarium Halle (Saale) on February 26, 2027. Nova’s music is generally categorized as ambient electronic, often incorporating elements of shoegaze, dream pop, and post-rock. Characterized by layered textures, atmospheric soundscapes, and heavily processed instrumentation – frequently utilizing guitar effects – Nova’s work evokes a sense of introspection and vastness. Pioulard's previous projects include work under his own name and collaborations with artists across various genres.

Planetarium Halle (Saale) is situated within the Kröllwitz district of Halle (Saale), Germany. Originally constructed in 1928 as part of the Hallesches Industriegebiet trade fair grounds, the planetarium boasts a dome with a diameter of 20 meters. Following periods of closure and renovation, it reopened in 2018 after extensive modernization including digital projection technology. The venue functions not only as an educational facility for astronomy but also as a space for diverse cultural events including concerts and multimedia presentations. It is noted for its unique acoustic properties stemming from its dome structure and historical architecture.
