Nouvelle Vague will perform at Hangar 34 in Liverpool, United Kingdom on March 13, 2027. The French musical project, Nouvelle Vague, is known for its unique approach to performing post-punk, new wave, and indie pop songs. They reinterpret these tracks using predominantly acoustic instruments – typically bossa nova, jazz, and pop arrangements – and are characterized by the use of female vocalists. The group was initially formed in 2004 by producers Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux.

Hangar 34 is a venue located within the historic Stanley Dock complex in Liverpool. Originally part of the extensive docklands infrastructure built during the Second World War, it served as a tobacco warehouse. The building's industrial architecture features exposed brickwork and high ceilings, contributing to its distinctive atmosphere. In recent years, Stanley Dock has undergone significant regeneration, transforming former warehouses into residential apartments, retail spaces and event venues like Hangar 34. The space now hosts a variety of events including concerts, exhibitions and private functions. It is recognised for its raw aesthetic and capacity for large-scale performances while retaining a sense of its original purpose.
