Nili Brosh, a contemporary instrumental guitarist, will be performing at the Fox Theatre in Detroit, Michigan on September 9, 2026. Brosh’s music blends progressive rock, jazz fusion, and elements of Middle Eastern tonality, often featuring complex rhythmic structures and virtuosic guitar playing. She is known for her work as a solo artist and as a member of the band Sitarology, alongside Dave Weiner. Her compositions frequently showcase extended-range guitars and innovative techniques.

The Fox Theatre opened in 1928 as a lavish movie palace designed by architect C. Howard Crane. Originally built for William Fox’s Fox Film Corporation, it was conceived as one of the grandest theaters in the country. Throughout its history, the Fox has served various purposes including film screenings, stage productions and concerts. After falling into disrepair in the 1980s, a significant restoration project led by Michael Ilitch resulted in its reopening in 1987.

Today, the Fox Theatre is recognized as both a Detroit landmark and a nationally significant example of atmospheric theatre design.
