Originally constructed in 1892 and designed by architect Jacob Ahrenberg, it replaced an earlier church that was destroyed by a fire. The church is notable for its Neo-Gothic architectural style featuring a prominent steeple and detailed wood carvings both externally and internally. It has undergone renovations over the years, including significant restoration work in the 1990s to preserve its historical features. The church serves as a central religious and cultural venue for the local community and regularly hosts concerts due to its favorable acoustics. It's capacity is approximately 600 people.
