New Cool Collective will perform at Neushoorn in Leeuwarden, Netherlands on February 5th, 2027. The band is a Dutch ensemble known for its distinctive blend of jazz, funk, soul, and hip-hop influences, often described as ‘nu-jazz’. Formed in the early 1990s, they gained prominence through their energetic live performances and sample-heavy productions. Their music frequently incorporates elements of improvisation alongside meticulously arranged compositions.

Neushoorn is a cultural centre and concert venue located in a former cattle shed in Leeuwarden. Originally built in 1913 as part of the city’s livestock market, the building underwent significant renovation and reopened as a dedicated arts space in 2018. It’s characterized by its industrial aesthetic – retaining much of the original brickwork and structure – while providing modern facilities for a diverse range of events.

The venue hosts a variety of performances including concerts, theatre, dance, and club nights. Neushoorn is notable for its commitment to showcasing both established artists and emerging talent across multiple genres and has become a significant hub for cultural activity within Friesland province.
