Following a period of decline and eventual closure in 1988, a significant restoration project led to its reopening in 2010. The theater now functions as a performing arts center hosting a variety of events including concerts, theatrical productions, film screenings, and community gatherings; retaining much of its original Art Deco architectural detailing.
