NAIA, a musical project spearheaded by New Zealand artist Naomi Ludlow, will be performing at Hannah Playhouse in Wellington Central on August 14, 2026. NAIA’s music is generally described as dream-pop and indie electronic, often incorporating layered vocals, atmospheric synthesizers, and introspective lyrical content. Her work frequently explores themes of identity, memory, and the natural world. Ludlow initially gained recognition through independent releases and has since built a following with critically acclaimed EPs and singles.

Hannah Playhouse is a historic theatre located on Cuba Street in Wellington. Originally built in 1924 as a Salvation Army building – the Citadel – it was converted into a theatre in 1972 by the New Zealand Players theatre company. The venue is known for its intimate atmosphere and distinctive architectural features, including its original stained-glass windows and Art Deco detailing. Throughout its history, Hannah Playhouse has served as a platform for a diverse range of performances including theatrical productions, musical concerts, dance performances and comedy shows. It continues to operate as an independent theatre space supporting local artists and fostering community engagement with the performing arts.
