Nacka Musikklasser will perform a concert at Berwaldhallen in Stockholm on December 6, 2026. Nacka Musikklasser is a Swedish youth orchestra renowned for its commitment to high-level musical education and performance, frequently tackling challenging orchestral repertoire beyond the standard youth orchestra fare. Berwaldhallen is Sweden’s national concert hall, inaugurated in 1979 and named after the composer Franz Berwald. Designed by architect Erik Ragvald, it is celebrated for its exceptional acoustics, achieved through careful architectural planning and the use of specific materials – notably birch wood paneling throughout the interior. The hall is home to the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Swedish Radio Choir, and hosts a wide variety of classical music performances throughout the year. It's considered one of Europe’s finest concert venues due to its sound quality and intimate atmosphere despite its capacity of approximately 1,800 seats. The hall regularly features internationally acclaimed orchestras and soloists alongside Swedish ensembles.
