Msjr is scheduled to perform at Dead Head Winery on August 2nd, 2026. Msjr’s musical style blends elements of jam band improvisation, psychedelic rock, and funk, often featuring extended instrumental passages and a focus on live performance energy. Their sound incorporates influences from artists like Phish and the Grateful Dead, while maintaining a distinctly modern approach to songwriting.

Dead Head Winery is located along the Monongahela River in southwestern Pennsylvania. Established in 2014 by Dave Mazza, the winery’s name pays homage to the community surrounding the Grateful Dead and their fans. Mazza, a former steelworker, transitioned into winemaking after developing an interest in the craft. The winery focuses on producing a range of fruit wines, utilizing locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.

Beyond wine production, Dead Head Winery has become a notable venue for live music, particularly within the jam band and Americana scenes. It regularly hosts regional and nationally touring acts, capitalizing on its outdoor space and riverside location to create a relaxed concert atmosphere. The venue’s capacity is approximately 500-700 people depending on stage configuration.
