Monsieur Periné will perform at the House of Blues San Diego on August 6, 2026. The band, originating from Bogotá, Colombia, blends a unique sound incorporating elements of jazz, bossa nova, French chanson, and Latin American rhythms. Their music often features intricate arrangements with acoustic instruments alongside electronic textures, and is characterized by the dual vocals of Catalina García and Nicolás Junca. Formed in 2015, they gained international recognition after winning the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2017.
House of Blues San Diego is located within the Gaslamp Quarter and opened in 2005. It is part of a national chain founded in 1992 by Isaac Tigrett and Dan Aykroyd, initially conceived as a venue celebrating blues music but quickly expanding to encompass a variety of genres. The San Diego location maintains the brand's signature aesthetic inspired by Delta blues culture, featuring a working art gallery showcasing local artists and décor incorporating folk art traditions. The venue has a capacity of approximately 1,400 standing or 850 seated guests and has hosted numerous nationally and internationally touring acts across diverse musical styles.
