Monsieur Periné, a Colombian band formed in 2012, will perform at Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, Georgia on September 27, 2026. Their musical style is characterized by a blend of genres including jazz, bossa nova, French chanson, and Latin American rhythms. Often described as “tropical surrealism,” their sound incorporates vintage aesthetics with modern sensibilities, featuring arrangements centered around ukulele, guitar, and distinctive vocal harmonies. The group gained international recognition after winning the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist in 2015.

Center Stage Theater is a performance venue located within the Alliance Theatre complex at the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta. Originally opened in 1968 as part of the Memorial Arts Center (later renamed Woodruff), it has served as a flexible space hosting a variety of productions beyond the Alliance Theatre’s mainstage season. These include touring Broadway shows, concerts featuring diverse musical acts, dance performances and other cultural events. The theater underwent renovations in 2018 to enhance its technical capabilities and improve audience experience while maintaining its intimate atmosphere – seating approximately 650 patrons. It’s known for providing a more direct connection between performers and the audience compared to larger venues.
