Mondo Chôro typically features instruments such as the *cavaco* (a small four-stringed instrument similar to a ukulele), flute, clarinet, seven-string guitar, and *pandeiro* (a Brazilian frame drum). Weseler Werft is an open-air venue located on the banks of the Main river in Frankfurt’s Westhafen district. Originally a shipyard – “Werft” translating to shipyard – it was redeveloped in the 1980s as a cultural space.
