Lucerna - Velký sál is a historically significant venue in Prague, opened in 1909 as part of the larger Lucerna Palace complex. Designed by architect Vratislav Pasovský, it’s notable for its Art Nouveau style and particularly its large mobile projector screen depicting a dynamic human form – a unique feature at the time of its creation. Throughout its history, the hall has hosted a diverse range of events including concerts by internationally renowned artists across genres like classical music, rock, and pop. It has also served as a venue for film screenings, balls, and political rallies.
