Maze, featuring Frankie Beverly, is scheduled to perform at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on September 5th, 2026. The group is renowned for its distinctive blend of funk, soul, and R&B, often characterized by sophisticated harmonies, prominent bass lines, and a smooth, danceable groove. Emerging in the late 1970s, Maze achieved significant success with hits like “Feel That Lady” and “Before I Let Go,” becoming a staple of the Quiet Storm radio format and influencing numerous artists.

Bridgewater Hall officially opened in September 1996 and is Manchester’s international concert hall. Designed by architects Renzo Piano and Leslie Robertson, it is celebrated for its exceptional acoustics. The hall was built to address a perceived lack of a suitable large-scale performance venue in the city capable of attracting major orchestras and ensembles. It serves as the home of the Hallé Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Manchester Camerata.

The hall’s auditorium has a capacity of approximately 2,345 seats and features a vineyard-style layout intended to provide excellent sightlines from all locations.
