Maximilian Hering will perform at Jazzkeller Frankfurt on September 5th, 2026. Jazzkeller Frankfurt holds a significant place in German jazz history. Established in 1952 by the Hessischer Rundfunk (Hessian Broadcasting Corporation), it was initially conceived as a studio for radio broadcasts featuring leading international jazz musicians. Quickly evolving into a public venue, it became renowned for hosting performances by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Bill Evans, and Sarah Vaughan during the 1960s and 70s.

The club’s intimate setting – a vaulted cellar beneath the Hessischer Rundfunk building – contributes to its unique acoustic properties and atmosphere.
