Max Richter will perform at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai, India on October 24, 2026. Richter is a British-German composer and pianist whose work blends elements of classical, electronic, and ambient music. Often described as post-classical, his compositions frequently incorporate minimalist techniques, subtle electronic textures, and emotionally resonant melodies. He’s known for re-imagining classical works – such as Vivaldi’s *The Four Seasons* – and for creating original scores for film and television, including *Arrival* and *The Leftovers*.

The NMACC opened in March 2023 and is a multi-performing arts centre located in Jio World Centre, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Conceived by Nita Mukesh Ambani, the centre aims to showcase a diverse range of artistic disciplines including performing arts, visual arts, and culinary experiences. Its architectural design incorporates three performing arts spaces: the Grand Theatre (capable of hosting large-scale productions), the Studio Theatre (a more intimate venue), and the Cube (a flexible space for exhibitions and smaller performances).
