Schloss Hohentübingen is a late Renaissance castle overlooking the city of Tübingen. Originally constructed between 1507 and 1510 by Duke Eberhard II of Württemberg as a residential palace, it served primarily as a ducal residence until 1803. Throughout its history, it also functioned as a university building – housing the University of Tübingen’s faculty of law from 1826 until 1961.
