The Philharmonie de Paris is a modern concert hall complex inaugurated in January 2015. Located in the Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement, it is designed to be a major cultural institution dedicated to all musical genres. The main concert hall, *Grande salle*, boasts a vineyard-style seating arrangement designed for optimal acoustics.

The building itself resulted from a decades-long project to create a large-scale concert venue for Paris, replacing earlier inadequate facilities. It houses several performance spaces including the *Grande salle*, smaller recital halls, educational spaces, and a museum dedicated to musical instruments – the Musée de la Musique – which was integrated into the complex.
