Marquis & The Rhythm Howlers perform a blend of vintage rhythm and blues, jump blues, and early rock and roll, often incorporating elements of swing and boogie-woogie. The band is known for its energetic live performances and authentic sound rooted in the post-war American music scene. Marquis, the frontman, is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in guitar and vocals, leading the group through both original compositions and interpretations of classic tunes.

Harvelle’S Long Beach is a long-standing music venue located in Long Beach, California. Established in 1987 by Harvey Klemow, it has become a prominent fixture in the Southern California blues and roots music community. The club is intentionally designed to evoke the atmosphere of a classic Chicago blues club – intimate, dimly lit, and focused on the music. It's known for its excellent acoustics and dedication to showcasing live blues, jazz, soul, and rockabilly acts. Harvelle’s has hosted numerous nationally recognized artists over the years alongside providing a platform for local musicians. The venue maintains a relatively small capacity fostering close interaction between performers and audience members.
