Experience Mark Bebbington live on June 25th
Mark Bebbington will perform a concert at St Giles’ Cripplegate, London on June 25th, 2026. Bebbington is a British pianist known for his interpretations of Romantic and early 20th-century composers, particularly those of Nikolai Medtner, whose complete piano sonatas he has recorded. His playing is often described as possessing a lyrical quality and technical precision, with a focus on bringing lesser-known works to a wider audience. He frequently performs repertoire alongside Medtner including Rachmaninoff, Scriabin and Chopin.
St Giles’ Cripplegate is a historic parish church in the City of London. Originally founded in 1310, the current building largely dates from the mid-14th century following damage during the Peasants' Revolt of 1381. It survived the Great Fire of London in 1666 relatively unscathed, though underwent significant restoration by George Gilbert Scott in the 19th century. The church has strong associations with Oliver Cromwell; he was a churchwarden and his daughter was baptised there.
