Experience María Dueñas live on November 20th

María Dueñas will perform at the Warsaw Philharmonic Hall on November 20, 2026. Dueñas is a Spanish classical guitarist recognized for her interpretations of both established repertoire and lesser-known works, particularly focusing on Spanish composers like Isaac Albéniz and Francisco Tárrega. Her style is often described as possessing both technical brilliance and emotional depth, showcasing a refined tone and nuanced phrasing. She frequently incorporates pieces demonstrating the rich history of the Spanish guitar tradition alongside contemporary compositions.

The Warsaw Philharmonic Hall, officially named the Casimir Fajewski Warsaw Philharmonic, holds significant cultural importance in Poland. Completed in 1901, it was designed by architect Oskar Kolberg and initially served as the Teatr Rozmaitości (Variety Theatre). Heavily damaged during World War II, it was meticulously reconstructed between 1955 and 1958, reopening as a dedicated concert hall. The hall is renowned for its exceptional acoustics and serves as the home of the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra. Its main auditorium seats approximately 1,800 people and regularly hosts performances by leading international orchestras and soloists. The building itself represents a notable example of early 20th-century architectural design within Warsaw.
