The Regentenbau is a historically significant concert and convention venue in Bad Kissingen. Originally constructed between 1908 and 1911 during the reign of Prince-Regent Ludwig of Bavaria – hence “Regentenbau” meaning “Regent’s Building” – it was designed in the Art Nouveau style by Carl Ebert. The building served initially as a Kurhaus (spa house) offering bathing facilities and entertainment for visitors to the town’s thermal springs. Over time, its function evolved primarily towards cultural events, becoming a prominent location for classical music performances, congresses, and exhibitions.
