Lust for Youth is a Danish synth-pop and darkwave act, initially formed in 2011. Their sound is characterized by melancholic melodies, atmospheric synthesizers, and often introspective lyrical themes, drawing influence from 1980s post-punk and coldwave. Over time, the project, primarily driven by Hannes Norrvall, has evolved from lo-fi bedroom recordings to a more polished and danceable electronic sound while retaining its core emotional depth. Hus 7 is a long-standing music venue located in Johanneshov, a district in Stockholm, Sweden. Originally established in 1967 as a youth club with musical ambitions, it quickly gained prominence as a hub for rock and pop music during the 1970s and 80s. Numerous prominent Swedish artists launched their careers performing at Hus 7. Throughout its history, the venue has undergone renovations but has consistently maintained its intimate atmosphere and focus on live music. It's known for hosting both established acts and emerging artists across various genres, maintaining a reputation for quality sound and a dedicated local following.
