The Lucerne Festival Orchestra will perform at the Culture and Congress Centre Lucerne (KKL Luzern) on August 18, 2026. The KKL Luzern, opened in 1998, is a multi-purpose venue designed by Jean Nouvel. Its Concert Hall is celebrated for its acoustics, achieved through a complex design incorporating movable elements and a unique wooden structure within the hall. The hall’s shape is inspired by a diamond resting on Lake Lucerne. It quickly gained international recognition as one of the world’s finest concert venues following its inauguration and hosts a significant portion of the annual Lucerne Festival programming alongside other events.
