The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, where the concert will be held, opened in 1983 after a significant public and private fundraising campaign to establish a dedicated performing arts venue for the city. Lawrence Toombs & Associates and Ellerbe Becket, it features multiple performance spaces including Whitney Hall – the primary venue for the Louisville Orchestra – Bomhard Theater, and Studio 1. It serves as a central hub for arts and culture within the Commonwealth of Kentucky and has undergone several renovations to enhance its facilities over the years.
