The Los Angeles Philharmonic will perform at Walt Disney Concert Hall on April 17, 2027. The orchestra is internationally renowned for its adventurous programming and commitment to both standard repertoire and contemporary music. Historically, the LA Phil has been a champion of American composers, and under conductors like Gustavo Dudamel, has broadened its focus to include extensive community engagement and innovative digital access initiatives. The orchestra’s sound is often characterized by its warmth, precision, and dynamic range.

Walt Disney Concert Hall, which opened in October 2003, serves as the home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. Designed by architect Frank Gehry, it is celebrated for its striking exterior stainless steel curves and its acoustically superior interior. The hall’s acoustics were a primary focus during design, led by acoustician Yasuhisa Toyota; achieving a balance between reverberation for orchestral music and clarity for vocal performances. It replaced the Philharmonic's previous home at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. The building also features a vineyard-shaped seating arrangement designed to bring audience members closer to the performers. Its construction was part of a larger revitalization project for downtown Los Angeles’s cultural district.
