The Los Angeles Philharmonic will perform at Walt Disney Concert Hall on February 26, 2027. Walt Disney Concert Hall, which opened in October 2003, is the home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. Designed by architect Frank Gehry, its stainless steel exterior is a landmark of downtown Los Angeles. The hall’s acoustics were a primary focus during design, overseen by Yasuhisa Toyota; it's celebrated for its clarity and warmth. The hall replaced the Philharmonic’s previous venue, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, offering a significantly improved acoustic environment specifically tailored for orchestral music. Beyond its architectural significance, the hall also serves as a community space hosting educational programs and public events. The building incorporates a vineyard-shaped auditorium intended to maximize sound reflection and audience intimacy.
