The Los Angeles Philharmonic will perform at Walt Disney Concert Hall on February 20, 2027. The orchestra is internationally renowned for its adventurous programming and commitment to both standard repertoire and contemporary music. Historically, the LA Phil has been a champion of American composers and frequently commissions new works, alongside interpretations of classical masters. Its musical style is characterized by a vibrant sound and a willingness to explore diverse genres, including film scores – a reflection of its close ties to the entertainment industry.

Walt Disney Concert Hall, completed in 2003, serves as the primary performance venue for the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Designed by architect Frank Gehry, the hall is celebrated for its striking stainless steel exterior and its exceptional acoustics, achieved through the work of acoustician Yasuhisa Toyota. It replaced the Philharmonic’s previous home, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. The building’s design intentionally breaks from traditional concert hall forms, aiming for a more organic and inviting aesthetic. Beyond its architectural significance, the hall also functions as a community space hosting educational programs and public events. The hall's interior features vineyard-style seating which brings audience members closer to the performers.
