Designed by Frank Gehry, the hall is celebrated for its striking stainless steel exterior and exceptional acoustics. The building was conceived to address deficiencies in the Philharmonic’s previous venue and provide a world-class performance space. Its interior features a vineyard-style seating arrangement, designed to bring the audience closer to the performers and enhance the sense of intimacy. The hall's acoustics were meticulously planned by Yasuhisa Toyota, utilizing adjustable elements to optimize sound quality for various performances. It represents a significant landmark in architectural and musical history within Los Angeles.
