Los Angeles Guitar Quartet (LAGQ) is scheduled to perform at Kaufmann Concert Hall in New York City on February 10, 2027. The ensemble is recognized for its diverse repertoire encompassing classical guitar arrangements, original compositions, and explorations of Latin American and world music traditions. Their performances frequently blend technical virtuosity with a commitment to musical storytelling, often incorporating elements of jazz and contemporary music. Formed in 1980, LAGQ comprises four classically trained guitarists: Matthew Greif, William Kanengiser, Scott Tennant, and Andrew York.

Kaufmann Concert Hall resides within the Lucy R. Lippard Building at 92Y, a prominent cultural and community center on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Originally constructed in 1927 as part of the 92nd Street Y’s expansion, the hall underwent a substantial renovation completed in 2018. This refurbishment focused on improving acoustics and enhancing the audience experience while preserving the hall’s historic architectural details. Known for its intimate setting and excellent sound quality, Kaufmann Concert Hall regularly hosts chamber music performances, recitals, and lectures by internationally renowned artists.
