The London Symphony Orchestra is scheduled to perform at the Philharmonie de Paris on January 16, 2027. Internationally renowned, the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) has a distinguished history dating back to 1904. The orchestra is celebrated for its versatility across a broad repertoire, encompassing classical works, film scores, and contemporary compositions. While rooted in the traditional orchestral sound, the LSO frequently collaborates with diverse artists and embraces innovative performance practices.

The Philharmonie de Paris, opened in 2015, is a major concert venue in the Parc de la Villette, Paris. Designed by Jean Nouvel, it’s notable for its distinctive modern architecture and exceptional acoustics. The complex comprises two main halls: the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez, seating approximately 2,400 people and designed for symphonic music; and the smaller Salle des Yeux, dedicated to chamber music and educational activities. It serves as a hub for musical performance and education, hosting a wide range of ensembles and genres. The building replaced an earlier concert hall on the same site and aims to provide state-of-the-art facilities for both performers and audiences.
