Experience London Symphony Orchestra live on November 14th
The London Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Philharmonie de Paris on November 14, 2026. The London Symphony Orchestra is internationally renowned for its versatility and broad repertoire, encompassing classical works, film scores, and contemporary compositions. Founded in 1904, the orchestra has a long history of pioneering recordings – notably being the first orchestra to make a complete recording of Beethoven’s symphonies – and collaborations with leading composers. Its sound is often characterized by precision, power, and a distinctive British orchestral tradition.
The Philharmonie de Paris, inaugurated in January 2015, is a major concert venue dedicated to all genres of music. Designed by architect Jean Nouvel, the complex features a Grande Salle with exceptional acoustics intended for symphonic music, as well as smaller halls for chamber music and experimental performances. It replaced the former Salle Pleyel as Paris’s primary concert hall and forms part of a larger park area in the 19th arrondissement. The venue aims to be accessible to diverse audiences and provides educational programs alongside its performance schedule. It is operated by the Cité de la Musique – Philharmonie de Paris, a cultural institution focused on music education and performance.
