Experience London Philharmonic Orchestra live on December 6th
The London Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a concert at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, France on December 6, 2026. The London Philharmonic Orchestra is renowned for its versatility, performing across a broad repertoire encompassing classical symphonies, film scores, and contemporary compositions. Founded in 1932 by Sir Thomas Beecham, the orchestra has a long history of recording and broadcasting, and is consistently ranked among the world’s leading orchestral ensembles.
The Musée d’Orsay itself is housed in the former Gare d’Orsay, a Beaux-Arts railway station built between 1898 and 1900. Originally a terminal for the Chemin de Fer de Paris à Orléans, it was converted into an art museum in 1986. The building’s architecture is integral to its character; its large glass and iron canopy and grand hall provide a unique atmosphere.
The museum primarily showcases French art dating from 1848 to 1914, including impressionist and post-impressionist masterpieces.
