While primarily known for opera, she also performs popular Cantonese songs and has ventured into film and television roles throughout her extensive career spanning several decades.

The concert will be held at the Robert Schumann Saal within the Kunstpalast museum in Düsseldorf, Germany. This hall is located inside a significant cultural institution originally founded in 1883 as the Museum of Arts and Crafts (Kunstgewerbemuseum). The Kunstpalast underwent extensive renovation and expansion completed in 2003, designed by the architectural firm Spektrum.

The Robert Schumann Saal itself is noted for its acoustics and intimate setting, frequently hosting chamber music concerts and recitals. Named after the renowned Romantic composer Robert Schumann who briefly resided in Düsseldorf during his lifetime, the hall aims to evoke the atmosphere of a private salon performance space. It’s characterized by its elegant décor and capacity suited for more focused musical presentations rather than large-scale orchestral performances.
