Lindsey Stirling, an American violinist, dancer, performance artist, and composer, will perform at the Teatro Municipal Jorge Eliécer Gaitán in Bogotá, Colombia on September 28, 2026. Stirling’s music blends electronic dance music (EDM) with classical violin, often incorporating elements of pop, dubstep, and orchestral arrangements. Her performances are characterized by energetic choreography and a visually dynamic stage presence. She gained prominence through self-produced music videos on YouTube and has since released multiple studio albums achieving platinum certifications and Billboard charting success.

The Teatro Municipal Jorge Eliécer Gaitán is Bogotá’s principal theatre and opera house. Inaugurated in 1926, it’s a significant example of neoclassical architecture designed by Italian architect Domenico Parella. The theatre underwent extensive renovations completed in 1999 after a fire severely damaged it in 1985. It hosts a diverse range of performances including opera, ballet, theatre productions, concerts – both national and international – and official civic events. The theatre is named in honor of Jorge Eliécer Gaitán, a prominent Colombian political figure assassinated in 1948.
