Lido Pimienta will perform at Parkteatret Scene in Oslo, Norway on October 30, 2026. Pimienta is a Colombian-Canadian musician whose work blends traditional Afro-Colombian rhythms and instrumentation – including marimba de chonta, gaitas, and percussion – with electronic music, jazz, and pop elements. Her music frequently addresses themes of Afro-feminism, political resistance, and the experiences of marginalized communities. She often incorporates field recordings and spoken word into her compositions, creating a sound that is both deeply rooted in tradition and strikingly contemporary. Pimienta has received significant critical acclaim and multiple Juno Awards for her albums *La Papessa* (2017) and *Miss Colombia* (2019).

Parkteatret Scene is a concert venue located in the Sofienberg neighborhood of Oslo. Originally constructed as a cinema in 1905, it operated as such for several decades before undergoing renovations and reopening as a cultural space in 2004.
