Renowned for its precision and expressive interpretations, the choir’s repertoire spans from medieval polyphony to contemporary compositions, with a particular strength in Latvian choral music and works by Baltic composers. Its architecture, by Neutelings Riedijk Architects, features a striking glass façade and flexible interior spaces intended to facilitate a wide range of performances and artistic experimentation. The hall prioritises acoustic quality; its main hall boasts adjustable elements allowing it to be tailored to different ensemble sizes and musical styles. It functions as a key venue within the Amsterdam Centre for Music (ACAM), alongside the Concertgebouw, fostering collaboration between various musical institutions and offering educational programs.
