Larry Goldings will perform at the Regent Theater in Los Angeles on October 29, 2026. Goldings is a highly regarded jazz pianist, organist, and composer known for his work spanning modern jazz, post-bop, and explorations incorporating elements of Americana and folk music. He frequently performs both as a leader of his own trios and quartets, and as a sideman with prominent artists like Madeleine Peyroux and John Scofield. His playing is characterized by harmonic sophistication, lyrical improvisation, and a distinctive sound on both acoustic piano and the Hammond organ.

The Regent Theater originally opened in 1931 as a movie palace designed by Lewis A. Smith, initially operating as part of the Fox West Coast Theatres chain. It showcased films throughout much of its history but underwent periods of disuse and various transformations. In 2018, it was extensively renovated and reopened as a live music venue retaining much of its original Art Deco architectural detailing. The space now features standing-room general admission alongside limited balcony seating, hosting a diverse range of musical acts across genres including indie rock, electronic, and jazz. Its capacity is approximately 720 people.
