Lara Wong will perform at Viften in Copenhagen, Denmark on February 26, 2027. Wong is a composer and performer whose work blends elements of contemporary classical music with electronic soundscapes and improvisation. She frequently collaborates with visual artists and dancers, creating immersive, multi-sensory experiences. Her previous albums have been released on the Room40 label and have received critical acclaim for their atmospheric qualities and innovative approach to sound.

Viften is a cultural center located in the Islands Brygge district of Copenhagen, housed within a former industrial building originally constructed for the city’s sanitation services in 1916. The building was repurposed in the late 1990s to become a space for independent art and performance. It is known for its raw architectural aesthetic – retaining much of its original industrial character – and its flexible performance spaces which accommodate a variety of artistic disciplines including music, theatre, dance, and visual arts. Viften functions as a hub for emerging artists and experimental projects within the Copenhagen arts scene, prioritizing cross-disciplinary collaboration. It’s currently operated by the municipality of Copenhagen.
